Hello Vista Peak Families!
My name is Ken Slesarik, and I am a Special Education Teacher in our RAISE program. I love Vista Peak’s diverse population and its strong emphasis on community and character. My mission as an educator is to empower every student and ensure they reach their full potential.
Experience & Background
- Teaching Experience: 18 years at the elementary level + 12 years in high school special education
- Specialized Support: 15 summers working with medically fragile students during ESY; former Driver’s Education teacher
- Interests & Community Work: Certified grief educator and published children's poet (featured in numerous books, magazines, and anthologies!)
